IS4322C is the dual port 10 Gigabit Ethernet Packet Capture

Network Adapter with PCI Express 2.0 host bus interface, capable

of 100% packet capture into host memory at full line rate for

all packets regardless of size.

 

IS4322C implemented in a low profile, half length PCI Express add-in Network Adapter form factor carries the current high end FPGA family from Xilinx, namely the Virtex-6 family, on which the SYSMATE-developed InterStream packet processing functionality resides, enabling to accelerate application software performance by offloading burdensome features from host CPU.

The importance of load balance in parallel applications running on multicore processors is widely recognized. IS4322C implements a load balancing technique designed specifically for the captured packet to be evenly distributed into its own parallelized applications. Furthermore Zero-copy DMA technology on IS4322C directly moves the captured packet into the host memory without occupying CPU workloads.

 

As the packet capturing, and flow classifying, filtering component in a streamlined packet processing architecture at 10 gigabit speed, IS4322C enables customers to build high-performance network appliances based on standard servers such as network traffic monitoring and account flow analysis of IP traffic, intrusion detection and prevention, etc.
